Kellocks was founded as a Specialist Criminal Defence Practice and is a contracted supplier to the Legal Aid Agency.

We deal with many cases each day at Police Stations and Magistrates Court in Preston, Lancashire and beyond.

We have one of the most experienced Criminal Teams available nationally. We only employ Solicitors or Representatives who have passed accreditation with the Law Society pursuant to the Criminal Litigation Accreditation Scheme. We do not employ unqualified case workers.

We pride ourselves on our advocacy skills at Court and the quality of our representation at Police Stations.

We offer a comprehensive service that starts at the Police Station and concludes with Higher Court Advocacy if required and have strong contacts with a number of highly skilled specialist Barristers.

Should the Police wish you to attend a voluntary interview, should you have received a Postal Requisition to attend Court or if you have been charged with a criminal offence of any type, then please contact us now.

We can provide representation at no cost to yourself at any Police Station and, subject to the “interest of justice” test and a means enquiry, we can provide free representation at the Magistrates Court. Subject to means, free representation is available at the Crown Court.   Legal Aid Crown Court representation is also available subject to a contribution to many people even if they are not eligible for Legal Aid in the Magistrates Court. For those who wish to instruct us on a privately funded basis, our fees are highly competitive and our low overheads and high volume capacity mean we can provide you with the very best quality of representation at rates significantly less than many of our competitors.
