Magistrates Court

Providing representation at the Magistrates Court is the heart and soul of our Practice. We deal with several cases a day and have a high volume of live cases at all times.

We provide Advocates to the Legal Aid Agency to act as Duty Solicitors at Preston Magistrates Court several times a month and we are contracted supplier to the Legal Aid Agency capable of offering free representation at the Magistrates Court, subject to a means test and “interest of justice” test.

Our in house Solicitors are happy to represent people at Court in Lancashire, Cumbria, North West, Yorkshire, the North East and the Midlands. We can offer a national service but for certain parts of the country, we would be likely to instruct expert Barristers or local Solicitors to represent you at certain types of hearings.
